Journeys in Spectral Consciousness

1. The Universe Operates on a Spectrum of Energy Levels

In my book “Levels of Energy” (which you should read before reading this one) I introduced the theory of Spectral Consciousness.

Universal recognition. The concept of "Levels of Energy" or "Spectral Consciousness" is a universal truth, intuitively understood across cultures and religions throughout history. These levels represent a spectrum of vibratory frequencies, from the densest, most negative realms to the lightest, most blissful states of existence. Understanding this spectrum allows for diagnosing, exploring, and transcending various states of being.

Beyond physical reality. Children and the elderly often exhibit a natural connection to realities beyond the physical, due to their proximity to pre- and afterlife states. This innate curiosity and wisdom, when integrated into mid-life, helps maintain a connection to the Ultimate Source. The author's personal experiences from childhood, involving both terrifying descents into lower astral realms and ecstatic ascensions to higher celestial planes, provided a direct, experiential understanding of these energy levels.

Intuitive discernment. Developing the ability to discern energy levels allows one to intuitively grasp the "vibe" of anything—a person, a place, a book, or a project. This skill, often awakening above a 500s consciousness level, enables a deeper understanding of truth and falsehood, as not everything that appears good or bad is truly so. It moves beyond superficial judgment to a profound sensing of underlying energetic realities.

2. Ascending Consciousness Through Love and Non-Attachment

As your own loving kindness and care for others expands and you become a cause and source of relief for your fellow humans, you will notice that there is an even higher source that has been radiating this type of love and care for you.

Becoming God-like. Increasing one's love and awareness allows for a more "God-like" existence, not as God, but as a miniature version with similar capabilities. This involves expanding loving kindness and becoming a source of relief for others, which in turn reveals a higher source of love radiating towards oneself. Manifesting desired realities becomes simple: send a thought or intention upwards, feel the desired reality, and release attachment to the outcome, trusting it will be granted if aligned with the soul's growth.

Transcending fixed positions. A hallmark of intellectual and spiritual enlightenment is moving beyond rigid, formulaic thinking and fixed identities. Instead of knee-jerk responses, one develops discerning, spectral thinking that considers present-moment context. This allows for holding seemingly contradictory truths simultaneously, understanding them as different levels or styles of seeing, and fostering a deeper, more expansive perspective on life.

Unconditional love. Reaching the 500s on the energy scale signifies spiritual salvation, characterized by transcending the cause-and-effect paradigm and operating from a place of love rather than seeking it. At 550, love becomes unconditional, making it difficult to perceive anything as not beautiful or perfect, even in negative situations. This state of blissful equanimity allows for taking on others' burdens and transmuting them, fostering effortless forgiveness and a profound understanding of life's simplicity: "Love myself, love others."

3. Trans-Religious Wisdom Reveals Universal Truths

Everything I know about life, I know from the comparative study of religion.

Beyond dogma and dismissal. True wisdom lies in studying religion beyond formal adherence or outright dismissal. Both rigid religiosity and anti-religious stances limit understanding, preventing access to the tremendous power and insights within ancient texts. A trans-religious approach reveals common roots and lines of thought across Buddhism, Hinduism, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, showing how they are pieces of a universal puzzle.

Experiential understanding. Religious texts, when approached as a mystic and trans-religious researcher, offer profound spiritual metaphysics often lost in literal interpretations or modern repackaging. For example:

• Jesus's teachings on self-sacrifice are often overdone, leading to victimhood, rather than transcending ego.
• The contradictory Gospels of the New Testament are meant to offer multiple viewpoints, akin to Zen Buddhist paradox.
• Genesis chapters 1-3 depict a de-evolution from non-dual to dual states, a concept central to Hinduism.

The purpose of religion. Religions were intended to offer guidance and "life coaching," providing frameworks for leading a great life and afterlife. They teach virtues like compassion (Buddhism), self-control (Judaism), surrender (Islam), forgiveness (Christianity), infinity (Taoism), and action/devotion (Hinduism). These teachings, when pieced together, form a key to understanding the universe and transcending cycles of birth and death.

4. The Multiverse: A Hierarchy of Realms and Realities

Today I understand what I was being shown: Levels of Energy or “lower astral realms” as they are called in various spiritual traditions.

Layered existence. The universe is structured in numerous layers, akin to Russian dolls, with one universe within another. These realms range from dense, suffering-filled lower astrals to expansive, blissful celestial planes. Each level possesses distinct characteristics, inhabitants, and rules, with higher planes vibrating at frequencies imperceptible to lower ones.

Buddhist cosmology. Buddhism outlines three main levels of existence:

• Kama-Loka (Sensuous World): Includes Niraya (Hell), Tirrachana Yoni (Animal Realm), Peta Loka (Hungry Spirits), Asuras (Demons), Manussa Loka (Human Realm), and Higher Kama Loka (Higher-Astral worlds). These are still subject to pain, pleasure, and delusion.
• Rupa-Loka (World of Form): Angelic worlds (600-1000 LOE) with subtle matter, inner sensing, and less pain/pleasure, achieved through meditation and virtue.
• Arupa-Loka (Formless World): Realms of Infinite Space, Consciousness, Nothingness, and Neither-Perception nor Non-Perception (1000 to 1 Million LOE), beyond linear thought and physical attributes.

Abrahamic and other traditions. Similar hierarchical structures are found globally:

• Christianity: Mentions multiple heavens (e.g., Papias's three layers, Mormon "degrees of glory").
• Islam: Describes seven heavens (Jannah) and hell (Jannahm), with varying ranks and physical descriptions of paradise.
• Judaism: Outlines seven heavens (Vilon to Araboth) and Gehenna (purgatory).
• Hinduism: Features Tamas (ignorance), Rajas (passion), Sattva (service), and Moksha (enlightenment), with seven levels of hell (Pataal) and spiritual realms (Swargaloka to Satyaloka).
• Polynesian, Sikh, Greek, Norse, and Hermetic traditions: All describe layered cosmologies, from underworlds to divine realms, often with 7, 9, or 10 distinct levels.

5. Earth as a Training Ground for Soul Evolution

The purpose of life on earth as a human is to develop virtue and wisdom and learn unconditional love, which guarantees ascent to higher realms.

A world of choice. Earth is a unique and precious realm, a "perfect balance of pain and pleasure," designed as a training ground for souls. It offers the rare opportunity to choose between descending further into lower consciousness or ascending to the highest states of enlightenment. This reflects the Abrahamic concept of humans being "born in sin" and the Buddhist idea that only souls of questionable integrity are born here.

Transcending the victim-perpetrator cycle. A core lesson on Earth is to break the cycle of victimhood and perpetration. If one was a victim in a past life, there's a karmic pull to become a perpetrator in the next, and vice-versa. The path to liberation is to become a "helper," assisting both victims and perpetrators, thereby balancing karmic accounts and developing compassion. This means taking responsibility for one's experiences, rather than succumbing to a "poor me" mentality.

The ideal path of adulthood: Society often stunts natural soul development, leaving adults stuck in childhood stages. The ideal progression involves:

• Ages 1-5 (0-200 LOE): Chaos, requiring immense love and pampering to prevent lifelong seeking of external validation.
• Ages 6-12 (200-400 LOE): Order, requiring restraint and discipline, treating the child like a "servant" with boundaries.
• Ages 13-18 (400-500 LOE): Individuation, fostering independent, rational thought, gradually loosening parental restraints.
• Ages 18-22 (500+ LOE): Mystical age, merging with the world beyond family, driven by personal visions and goals.

6. Discerning and Transcending Lower Astral Influences

Moving to a higher level of consciousness will naturally get rid of most bad spirits.

Unseen influences. Negative discarnate entities, earthbound spirits, and unseen evil influences exist, but focusing too much on them can cause undue superstition and paranoia. These lower astral entities are disembodied units of energy, often split-off parts of lost souls, that feed on low-frequency emotions like hate, guilt, fear, and addiction. They attach to humans when energy levels are low or when invited through esoteric practices.

Symptoms and severity. Entity oppression manifests as troublesome moods, cravings, violent thoughts, alienation, and bizarre beliefs. Possession involves loss of control over motor functions, speech, and behavior, while demonic possession signifies a reversed state where evil grants power. Key symptoms include:

• Sudden physical coldness without cause.
• Compulsions, intense urges, involuntary movements.
• Violent thought-forms, urges to harm.
• Prolonged alienation, dullness, extreme mood swings.
• Paranoid beliefs, accumulation of negative events.
• Hearing disembodied voices or commands.
• Self-mutilation, sadism, habitual lying.

Protection and transcendence. The best defense against negative entities is to cultivate a high level of consciousness and a field of loving kindness. Atheists and skeptics are often protected by their disbelief, as they give no attention to these realms. For those afflicted, professional help (priests, yogis, psychiatrists) is recommended, alongside prayer to the Most High. The "Confessional" exercise, writing down past transgressions and forgiving oneself, can clear energy disturbances and prevent attraction to lower realms.

7. The Power of Divine Intervention and Miracles

Intervention from higher levels of consciousness always worked to overcome conditions of barbaric violence and suffering.

Steering history. Throughout history, higher realms have intervened in earthly affairs, sending "agents" like Krishna, Moses, Buddha, Jesus, and Mohammed to elevate humanity's consciousness. These interventions, often leaving scientifically verifiable traces, aim to steer Earth away from barbarism and suffering. Examples include:

• Our Lady of Guadalupe (1531): An apparition of Virgin Mary that left a scientifically inexplicable image on a cloth, leading to the decline of human sacrifice in Mexico. The cloth's durability, lack of pigments, and reflected images in Mary's eyes defy current technology.
• Ramana Maharshi: A sage whose death was marked by a luminous object traversing the sky, witnessed by many, despite his own disinterest in supernatural phenomena.

The nature of intervention. Such interventions are characterized by:

• Scientific verifiability: Leaving traces beyond mere superstition.
• Long-term positive effects: Influencing societal change for the better.
• Reactions of awe/fear: The sheer energy of higher realms can overwhelm the human nervous system, making the experience shocking rather than purely peaceful.

Entropy and distortion. While powerful, these interventions often cannot maintain their high momentum indefinitely on Earth. Due to inherent entropy, teachings from higher realms can become distorted or devolve into barbarism over centuries. However, their influence still positively shapes humanity's trajectory, preventing a total descent into darkness.

8. Reality as Interconnected "Bubbles" of Awareness

See every plane, dimension, planet, thought, problem, energy as a kind of bubble or vortex of spinning energy, a kind of thing with defined borders, size, weight, frequency, color, sound.

The bubble metaphor. All realities—from physical objects to thoughts, problems, and entire universes—are "bubbles" of spinning energy with defined borders. To experience anything, one must limit awareness to within that bubble. Fascination draws one into a bubble, and sustained interest solidifies it, making one forget anything outside.

Entering and leaving bubbles.

• Entering: Occurs by focusing attention on a reality, getting closer, and confining oneself within its limits. This is how we become immersed in our current life, job, or problems.
• Leaving: Requires going through the bubble, experiencing it fully, expanding awareness to its outermost limits, and defining its boundaries. Resisting a bubble paradoxically keeps one trapped, as it maintains interest and energy investment.

Transcending vs. abandoning. Simply walking away from a reality-bubble (e.g., a marriage) without transcending it leaves behind "split-off parts" of one's energy, leading to feelings of incompleteness or loss. True transcendence involves recollecting all invested energy, leading to a sense of wholeness and freedom. This process is central to emotional processing and regaining one's full self.

9. Cultivating Higher States Through Intentional Living

The amount of love you can flow here and now determines how happy you are.

Inner source of happiness. True joy and happiness originate from within, independent of external circumstances. The ego/mind's constant pursuit of external energy and gratification is a primary source of dissatisfaction. By shifting focus from "getting" to "being" and "giving" love, one accesses an internal wellspring of bliss.

The power of presence. Being fully present, even in simple acts like sitting in a chair, can lead to ecstatic states. This contrasts with the world's constant push to seek energy and entertainment externally. When one is content and blissful from within, external activities become more enjoyable because they are no longer needed for fulfillment or relief.

Intentional practices:

• Radiating Love: A powerful exercise where one focuses unconditional love and attention on another, leading to profound emotional and physical healing. Problems, being a "cry for attention," dissolve when this attention is fully given.
• Mystical Prayer: A direct, two-way communion with the Ultimate Source, beyond institutional religion. It involves focused intention, humility, and openness to higher guidance, allowing for miracles and aligning personal will with divine will.
• Forgiveness and Blessing: Releasing grudges and sending positive energy to others clears one's own energy field, making one a conduit for good vibes and facilitating ascension.

10. The Ultimate Journey to Infinite Awareness

At this highest level of Awareness ONE is aware of everything. And not only that, one is also Source/Creator of everything.

Beyond the finite. The ultimate destination of the soul's journey is Infinity itself, a state so grand it defies earthly language and concepts. It is not "nothingness" but a pulsating dance of energy that contains all bubbles of reality without being contained by any. Compared to this, the entire physical universe is less than a speck of dust.

The nature of Infinite Awareness:

• Omnipresence: One is not in this space or that, but in both simultaneously.
• Non-causality: Everything is a spontaneous unfolding of creation, not a chain of cause and effect.
• Source of love: This super-high frequency creates time, space, and energy, and imbues things with a spark of love that allows them to endure for millennia.

Glimpses of the beyond. Through out-of-body experiences and states of high lucidity, one can catch glimpses of celestial realms—places of light without source, new colors, enchanting sounds, and magnificent, eternally growing structures. These experiences re-energize life on Earth and serve as reminders that there is always something "more awesome" beyond current comprehension. The deepest human fear is to descend, and the greatest hope is to ascend towards this boundless, eternal awareness.
