Ben Elton
Ben Elton is a British comedian, novelist, playwright, and television writer born in 1959.
He rose to prominence as a stand-up comedian and co-writer of the iconic TV series "The Young Ones" and "Blackadder." Elton has authored numerous bestselling novels, including "Stark" and "Dead Famous," and won the Crime Writers' Association Gold Dagger Award for "Popcorn." He has also written successful West End musicals, most notably "We Will Rock You." Elton's work often blends comedy with social commentary, addressing issues like class, politics, and popular culture.
He currently resides in Perth, Australia, with his wife and three children.
