Key Takeaways

1. A New Vision: Consciousness Creates Reality

Your scientists are finally learning ... that mind can influence matter. They still have to discover the fact that mind creates and forms matter.

Challenge orthodoxy. For centuries, science and religion have presented a mundane, mechanistic universe, portraying humanity as helpless pawns. This old model, based on a physical-first reality, has led to existential anxiety and devalued our inner world. It's time to question these limiting beliefs.

Quantum leap. Modern theoretical physics, particularly quantum physics, now suggests a radically different view: our common-sense reality is an illusion. The universe is not solid particles but an interconnected web of dancing energy, where consciousness plays a crucial role. As mystics have long taught, the material world is "maya," an appearance.

Mind over matter. The emerging vision posits that consciousness is the fundamental reality, not an emergent property of matter. Everything, from atoms to galaxies, is trapped light vibrating at various frequencies, and the source of this energy is consciousness itself. This means our thoughts and beliefs literally bring matter into being.

2. You Are the Conscious Creator

We create every success, every failure, every illness, every relationship, every promotion, every piece of good or bad ‘luck’, every family row, every problem, every trauma, every ‘accident’, everything.

Total responsibility. This core metaphysical truth asserts that nothing happens by chance; we choreograph every event in our lives. Our inner world—our beliefs, attitudes, thoughts, feelings, choices, desires, and expectations—magnetically attracts corresponding external experiences. There are no exceptions.

Beliefs create experience. Our subconscious mind works tirelessly to confirm our beliefs. If we believe life is a struggle, we will attract struggles. If we expect joy, we will create joy. This is not mere positive thinking, but a literal process where our internal programming manifests as external reality.

Slow manifestation. While in spirit, thoughts manifest instantly, physical reality offers a "cushion of time." This delay allows us to learn to consciously control our psychic energy and refine our beliefs. As we approach a new age, this manifestation process is accelerating, demanding greater vigilance over our thoughts.

3. Embrace Your Multi-Dimensional Self

I am telling you that you are not a cosmic bag of bones and flesh, thrown together through some mixture of chemicals and elements ...

Eternal beings. We are eternal, multi-dimensional beings, existing before birth and after death. Our physical body is like a spacesuit, a temporary vehicle for experience. We live many physical lifetimes concurrently, not sequentially, across different historical periods and even parallel realities.

Time is illusion. Einstein's insight that time is an illusion means there is only the eternal now. All past and future events are happening simultaneously. Our consciousness simply tunes into different frequencies, making one "current" life feel primary.

Probable selves. With every decision, new "probable selves" are born into probable universes, exploring all the possibilities we didn't choose. This complex reality, also explored by theoretical physicists, highlights the vastness of our being beyond our current perception.

4. Life's Purpose: Joyful Growth, Not Suffering

Your life has been based on the supposition that there is something wrong with you that you’ve got to fix. I would like to suggest that there is nothing wrong with you, and you certainly don’t need to be fixed.

Choose joy. Life's primary purposes are to learn how to have fun and consciously create success. We are not meant for struggle, pain, or self-denial. Our purpose is to enjoy life, fulfill our potential, love ourselves and others, and be joyful.

Karma redefined. Karma is not divine punishment for past misdeeds, but a personal choice for growth. We choose circumstances, relationships, and events to help us learn and expand. There are no karmic debts unless we believe there are; we can release ourselves by learning the lessons.

Embrace uniqueness. Spiritual growth isn't about achieving "perfection" or being "holy." It's about becoming more of who we truly are, embracing our uniqueness, and embodying our spirit fully. Our feet of clay and hearts of gold are both aspects of our wholeness.

5. Master Your Ego, Release Your Inner Selves

The glass in which the ego seeks to see its face is dark indeed.

Ego's tricks. The Ego, our limited, separated self, is the source of suffering. It manifests as worry, fear, resentment, guilt, the need for approval, criticism, and a constant striving for "specialness" or feeling "better than" or "less than" others. It loves to deny responsibility and cling to the past.

Victim and martyr. The Ego thrives on playing victim ("poor me!") or martyr ("look how I suffer!"). These games allow us to avoid responsibility, wallow in self-pity, punish others, and seek love through crisis. Recognizing these patterns is the first step to liberation.

Heal inner selves. We have many inner selves, including the Wounded Child (seeking unconditional love, replaying past traumas) and the Adolescent (seeking control, living in fantasy, avoiding responsibility). By loving and integrating these parts, we release our Free Child's spontaneity and creativity, moving towards adulthood.

6. Listen to the Whispers of Intuition

Every event is an opportunity to learn and grow — if only we can learn to listen to the whispers; and the more we listen, the more whispers we are sent.

Life as metaphor. Nothing is random or meaningless. Everyday events, from a blocked sink to a car breakdown, are "whispers"—metaphors and messages from our Higher Self. They offer guidance, reflect our inner world, and provide opportunities for growth.

Body's messages. Our physical body perfectly mirrors our mind and emotions. Symptoms and illnesses are not random but carry emotional meanings, intended as sources of growth. Suppressed anger might manifest as cancer, or a sore throat as blocked communication.

Trust impulses. Intuition comes as impulses, images, dreams, or feelings, guiding us towards our best path. Our culture often teaches us to mistrust these, favoring logic. Ignoring intuitive whispers can lead to suppressed emotions and missed opportunities for growth.

7. Embrace Emotions as Creative Power

Emotions ... flow through you like storm clouds or blue skies, and you should be open to them and react to them. You are not your emotions.

Fuel for creation. Emotions are not good or bad; they simply are. They are a crucial aspect of reality creation, determining how rapidly events manifest. Suppressing emotions is dangerous, building them up like "mountains" that eventually erupt as illness or trauma.

Release and transform. Fully experiencing an emotion allows it to change and lead to inner peace. Accepting and flowing with feelings, rather than judging or suppressing them, is the path to release and transformation. The struggle to suppress pain is often more painful than the emotion itself.

Guilt and fear. Guilt is often hidden resentment or self-punishment, an Ego invention that blocks growth. Fear, while a useful "brake" to prevent wrong turns, can paralyze us if we react too strongly. Overcoming fear means acting despite it, choosing growth over stagnation.

8. Manifest Your Dreams with Desire and Expectancy

Mental images, accompanied by strong emotion, are blueprints ... upon which a corresponding physical object, or condition or event, will in your terms appear.

Conscious programming. We can interrupt automatic reality creation by consciously programming our lives. This involves using desire, imagination, and expectancy to manifest our dreams. Whatever we vividly imagine, intensely desire, and firmly expect will be attracted into our lives.

Three tools.

  • Desire: Clarify what you truly want, ensuring it aligns with your growth and isn't based on dubious motivations.
  • Imagination: Create vivid mental images of your desired outcome, engaging all senses.
  • Expectancy: Believe totally that your dream will materialize, without entertaining doubt.

Act as if. Begin to think and act as if your desired reality is already true. This sends a powerful magnetic message to your subconscious, which dislikes inconsistency. Even small actions, like planning a dream trip, reinforce your belief and accelerate manifestation.

9. Connect with the Loving Oneness

The whole is the sum of its hearts.

Love is ultimate reality. Love is everything that is truly real, the Grand Unified Force. Our feelings make life seem real, and our greatest driving force is the search for our lost wholeness, the realization of our Oneness with all that is.

Self-love first. Our relationships with others mirror our relationship with ourselves. Unconditional self-love is the foundation for creating a loving and joyous reality. Whatever we crave from others—love, freedom, respect—is what we need to give ourselves first.

Unseen friends. Our spiritual journey is supported by "unseen friends" like guides, archetypes, our Future Self, and Higher Self. They offer inspiration and guidance, boosting our efforts without doing the work for us. Gratitude for this support expands our awareness and invites more assistance.

Living Magically receives mostly positive reviews with an overall 4.16 rating. Readers praise it as life-altering and beautifully written, offering practical exercises, meditations, and a blend of psychological and metaphysical approaches.
