Kat Dunn
Kat Dunn is a British author known for her darkly imaginative fiction.
She grew up in London and has lived in Japan, Australia, and France, experiences that have shaped her diverse storytelling.
She holds a BA in Japanese from SOAS and an MA in English from the University of Warwick.
Her works include Hungerstone (2025), Bitterthorn, and the Battalion of the Dead trilogy: Dangerous Remedy, Monstrous Design, and Glorious Poison.
Beyond fiction, she has written about mental health for Mind and The Guardian and has worked as a translator for Japanese television.
