Greg Marley
Greg Marley developed his passion for mushrooms in 1971 when he left his native New Mexico to spend a summer in the forests of central New York.
This formative experience shaped a lifelong dedication to mycology.
Marley became an avid student and teacher of the subject, serving as a mushroom identification consultant to the Northern New England Poison Control Center.
He founded Mushrooms for Health, a Maine-based company offering education and medicinal mushroom products.
Also the author of Mushrooms for Health: Medical Secrets of Northeastern Fungi, Marley continues to live and forage in Rockland, Maine.
