Larry J. Sabato
Larry Joseph Sabato is an American political scientist and analyst, serving as the Robert Kent Gooch Professor of Politics at the University of Virginia.
He founded the Center for Politics, which promotes civic engagement and publishes Sabato's Crystal Ball, offering free political analysis and electoral projections.
A Norfolk, Virginia native, Sabato earned his undergraduate degree from UVA, later receiving a Rhodes Scholarship to Oxford, where he completed his doctorate in politics.
He has authored over twenty books, including A More Perfect Constitution and The Kennedy Half-Century, taught more than 14,000 students, and is a frequent media commentator on American politics.
