Sophie Hannah is an internationally bestselling author of psychological crime fiction, with her works published in 27 countries.
She has won numerous awards, including the Crime Thriller of the Year Award for "The Carrier" in 2013.
Hannah has also had two of her novels adapted for television.
In addition to her crime novels, she has published five collections of poetry, with one shortlisted for the T S Eliot Award.
Hannah has held fellowships at Trinity College, Cambridge, and Wolfson College, Oxford.
She currently resides in Cambridge with her family and is a Fellow Commoner at Lucy Cavendish College.
Hannah has been entrusted with continuing Agatha Christie's Hercule Poirot series, bringing new adventures to the famous detective's little grey cells.
