She began her writing career in 1978 with her debut novel, Bonds of Love, published by Jove Publishing under the pseudonym Lisa Gregory.
Throughout her career, she has also written under the pseudonyms Kristin James and Sharon Stephens before ultimately publishing under her own name.
Known for her compelling storytelling, she continues to craft engaging stories from her home in Austin, Texas, where she lives with her husband.
She is also the mother of Young Adult author Anastasia Hopcus.
