يرفاند أبراهاميان

التاريخ

إيرفاند أبراهاميان مؤرخ أرمني-إيراني متخصص في تاريخ إيران الحديث.
وُلِد في طهران عام 1940، وانتقل إلى بريطانيا عام 1951 ثم إلى الولايات المتحدة.
حصل على درجات علمية من جامعتي أكسفورد وكولومبيا.
قام أبراهاميان بالتدريس في مؤسسات مرموقة مثل جامعة برينستون وأكسفورد، ويعمل حاليًا في مركز الدراسات العليا بجامعة مدينة نيويورك.
يُعرف بأعماله حول التاريخ الإيراني، بما في ذلك كتاب "إيران بين ثورتين" و"اعترافات معذبة".
إن خلفية أبراهاميان وبحوثه الواسعة تجعله سلطة رائدة في تاريخ إيران المعاصر.
يجمع منهجه بين التحليل السياسي والاجتماعي والاقتصادي لتقديم رؤى شاملة حول التطورات الحديثة في إيران.
